Skid Foundations:

A Vidir steel skid foundation is about half the cost of concrete. With a skid foundation the bin is immediately usable, it can be moved within your yard and unlike concrete it can be sold when it is no longer required. Available for all sizes of Vidir bins. Single skid for bins to 2300 bu., Double skid for bins to 3200 bu., Super Double for bins to 4000 bu. and Super Heavy Double (250 wall) for bins to 5000 bu. All skids require 4 hold down anchors and a level, packed 8” thick gravel base.
        

Cooling, Aeration & Monitoring:

A full line of accessories and systems are available to match your exact cooling, aeration and monitoring requirements. Inverted V Trough air system for cooling only, Factory installed in any Vidir bin. GG9000 18” aeration tube for bins to 2500 bu. Factory installed or retrofit for existing bins. GG10,000 24” aeration tube for bins to 4500 bu. Factory installed or retrofit for existing bins. GG7000 4 rocket aeration system. Factory installed in bins to 3200 bu. GG7000 6 rocket aeration system. Factory installed in bins to 4500 bu. A full line of adaptors, to match your aeration fan, fan mounting bracket for GG7000 series, aeration fans, stor-max opi cable and monitors as well as 14” mushroom roof vents are all available.

Vidir bins are ideal for fertilizer storage. The superior finishing process, that starts with P&O steel and finishes with fertilizer grade epoxy powder coating outperforms standard finishing systems by a wide margin. Vidir's generous 45º bottom cone slope allows fertilizer to flow freely for total cleanout. Standard fertilizer bin features also include: • 3 view glasses • A 1 piece formed stainless steel poke hole - (no welded seams) • Rack and pinion roller crank slide gate with 24” of clearance • Fixed roof and sidewall ladders with traction rungs • 26” dia. spring loaded, ground operated, vented lid and • Manway in bottom cone. Standard Vidir feed bins come in sizes from 11.6 to 84 tons. For larger capacities - up to 175+ tons any Vidir bin can be ordered with a 55º bottom cone for bulk feed storage. Standard features include: • Powder coating inside and out • 55º bottom cone slope • Side wall and roof ladders with traction rungs • 1 view glass 6” above bottom cone • 26” spring loaded, ground operated, vented lid • 24” clearance under bottom cone.
